Walking in Faith: How a Two-Week Challenge Can Transform Your Holiday Season
"For we walk by faith, not by sight" - 2 Corinthians 5:7
The holiday season often feels like a paradox. While it's meant to be a time of joy, celebration, and spiritual reflection, many of us find ourselves overwhelmed, putting our health on the back burner until those inevitable New Year's resolutions. But what if we could approach this season differently? What if we could walk through December with intention, faith, and purpose?
This is the heart behind our Rise & Stride Challenge, a unique two-week journey that combines physical movement, nutritional wisdom, and spiritual growth.
Why Rise & Stride?
The concept is simple yet profound: every step we take in faith, both literally and figuratively, moves us closer to our goals. During a season when it's easy to become sedentary and overwhelmed, Rise & Stride offers a different path one of intentional movement, mindful nourishment, and spiritual connection.
Just as our faith journey requires daily commitment, our health journey benefits from consistent, purposeful steps forward. This challenge isn't about dramatic transformations or restrictive regimens. Instead, it's about laying a foundation of faithful habits that will carry us not just through the holidays, but into a transformative new year.
The Three Pillars of Rise & Stride
1. Faithful Steps
Our primary focus is simple: walking in faith. With a daily goal of 8,000 steps, participants begin each day with a prayer walk, turning physical movement into a spiritual practice. This isn't just about hitting a number on your fitness tracker – it's about creating space for connection, reflection, and forward momentum.
2. Temple Care
Scripture reminds us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. Through mindful protein consumption and balanced nutrition, we honor these temples during a season often characterized by excess. Participants learn to fuel their bodies with intention, preparing them for both physical activity and spiritual growth.
3. Gut Health & Wholeness
The gut-brain connection is well-documented, and maintaining gut health during the holidays can significantly impact our overall wellbeing. By incorporating our GreenSynergy, adequate fiber, and proper hydration, participants often report improved energy, and a better mood.
More Than Just Movement
What sets Rise & Stride apart is its holistic approach. While many holiday wellness programs focus solely on restriction or compensation, this challenge emphasizes:
Community Support: Participants share their journey through daily check-ins and group encouragement
Spiritual Growth: Scripture paired with movement
Practical Wisdom: Easy-to-implement strategies for navigating holiday gatherings
Future Focus: Building momentum for lasting change in the new year
Looking Ahead
While our current Rise & Stride Challenge is exclusively for our VIP community, it serves as a preview of what's to come. January will bring a full 30-day transformation challenge, building on these foundational principles of faith-based wellness.
Walking into 2025
As we approach the new year, consider this: every step taken in faith, no matter how small, moves us forward. The holiday season doesn't have to be a time of putting our health on hold or feeling overwhelmed by endless commitments. Instead, it can be a time of intentional movement, both physically and spiritually.
Through Rise & Stride, we're not just counting steps – we're walking in faith toward the promises God has for our health and wellness. As we move through this season, remember that each step forward, each mindful choice, and each moment of prayer builds momentum for the journey ahead.
